Hello friends and family,
As always I hope you are all healthy and happy.
I have just returned back from another amazing adventure, this time it was a short vacation to the Land of OZ . My trip included visiting the lovely area's of Tasmania and Melbourne.
I arrived to meet my good friends, Betty and David, in the capital city of Hobart, Tasmania. We had a whirlwind trip that was jam-packed from historical tours, to markets, to numerous penitentiaries (the island was a major penal colony), to wildlife parks, etc. We also hiked Mt. Wellington and Mt. Nelson, ate our way through the Cadbury chocolate factory, wined and dined over fabulous cheese and seafood....not to mention good Turkish and Mexican food too.
After four days Betty and David went on a "walk about" and I checked myself into a spa. I spent the day at the Savor Bath indulging in all their services and floated out to continue my trip.
I was also fortunate to see my good friends, Erin and Mark, who would of thought that we would meet in Tassie? I felt truly blessed to have some time with one of my favorite couples.
At the end of week, I headed to Melbourne and celebrated the Chinese New Year's in style...with terrific food, parades and lots of shopping.
I am home (Fiji) now for a couple of weeks before I head to Vanuatu and then Kiribati. I will be back in the States in May...two weeks in DC/Ohio, a week in Alaska and a few days in CA. I hope to see you all during the next year.
